What is CBT?
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based therapeutic orientation that is founded on the theory that psychological problems are related to unhelpful thoughts and behaviours that are learned in our environments. The aim of CBT is to help you analyze patterns in your emotions, thoughts, behaviours and life circumstances in an effort to bring about change. The focus is short-term and goal-oriented, with the aim of giving you tools that you can use to feel better both short-and long-term.
